Quotes with photos, a valid-until date and a pay button
If you make things to order, you quote with a draft order. But a custom item in Shopify has no picture, and a draft has no end date. RNS Quote Photos adds both.

↑ the quote
How it works
- Open a draft order and add photos to each line, from a laptop or a phone camera.
- Send the quote: choose the valid-until date and check the email.
- The customer sees the photos by each item, the total, the date and a Review and pay button.
What you get
- Add photos to each line of a draft order, from a laptop or phone camera
- Quote email with photos, total, valid-until date and a pay button
- Edit the subject and message per quote; preview and test first
- See every quote: sent, expiring soon, expired, turned into an order
- Reminder before a quote ends, expired drafts tagged or deleted (Pro)
- Optional snippet shows the photos in Shopify's own invoice
Honest limits
What it can't do
- The "Quote photos" card has to be added to the draft page once (Blocks › + Block, then pin it).
- On Free an expired quote is only marked Expired; reminders and tagging or deleting expired drafts are Pro.
- It doesn't add a "request a quote" form to your store.

Questions
I can't see the card on the draft order.
Add it once: draft page › Blocks › + Block › Quote photos, then pin it.
What happens when a quote expires?
On Pro the draft is tagged quote-expired (or deleted, your choice). The Review and pay link may still work, so say on the quote if the price no longer holds.
Can Shopify's own invoice show the photos?
Yes: Settings › Photos in Shopify's invoice gives a short snippet to paste into Shopify's Draft order invoice template.
What happens to the photos if I uninstall?
They stay in your Shopify Files; the app never deletes them.
Set up and use
7 steps
- Install, choose Free or Pro. Test mode is on at first: quotes come to the shop owner, not the customer.
- Settings › Valid for: how long a new quote holds its price (14 days by default; 7, 30, 60 or no end date).
- Open a draft order (laptop, or the Shopify app on a phone). The first time: Blocks › + Block › Quote photos, then pin it. The Quote photos card lists each line: Add photo (JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC up to 20 MB; on a phone the picker offers the camera), Remove; valid until (Change); the quote's status.
- Send quote (on the card, or More actions › Send quote): to, valid until, the reminder date (Pro), subject and message (editable per quote), a preview, Send test to me, Send quote. The customer gets the shop's email with the photos per line, the total, the valid-until date and a Review and pay button (Shopify's checkout for that draft).
- Home lists every quote: Draft · Sent · Reminder sent · Expires in N days · Expired · Paid (with the order). The row detail has the photos, the timeline, the email as sent, Change valid until, Don't remind, Resend, Open draft.
- Pro, at 9:00 shop time each day: a reminder N days before the end (default 2); once the date has passed, the draft is tagged quote-expired (default) or deleted (setting). Free: the quote just shows Expired.
- Optional: Settings › Photos in Shopify's invoice has a short snippet to paste into Shopify's "Draft order invoice" template, so Shopify's own invoice shows the photos too.
