Who we are

RN Solution (a business name, not yet registered) makes small apps for Shopify stores. Contact by email only: [email protected].

Merchants who install an RNS app.
Their customers, whose order details the app uses to do its job (for example, to send a "payment received" email).

We act for the merchant: the merchant decides what the app does with their customers' data; we process it only to run the app.

About your store: the store's address and name, the plan you chose, your settings and templates, and the access token Shopify gives the app.
About your customers, only what the app needs: usually the name and email on the order, the order number, items and totals. Some apps read a little more (for example, a delivery address for a replacement order). Each app's help page lists exactly what it reads.
What the app did: a log of each email or change the app made (when, to whom, the result), so you can see and resend it.
Staff names: apps that record who made a change keep the staff member's first name and last initial.
Usage counts: each app counts what happens in it per store (installs, plan changes, which pages and features are used, emails sent or failed, errors), so we can fix problems and improve the apps. These counts carry the store's address and plan, never customer names, emails, addresses or order details. Detailed counts are kept 3 months; daily totals per store are kept 2 years, then only totals for each app.
Visits to rnsapps.com: counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics (page, referring site, country, browser type). It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you.

We don't use cookies for tracking, don't sell data, don't show ads, and don't read anything the app doesn't need.

On Cloudflare (Workers, D1 databases and Email Service) in the account of RN Solution. Emails to your customers are sent through Cloudflare Email Service from [email protected], with your shop's name and your reply-to address.
Shopify keeps its own copy of your store data under Shopify's privacy policy.

Logs and rows about orders: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
When you uninstall: the access token and plan are removed at once; everything else for your store is deleted when Shopify sends its store-deletion request (48 hours after uninstall), or after 30 days at the latest.
When a customer asks to see or delete their data, Shopify tells us: we email you everything we hold on that customer, or delete it.

You (or your customers, through you) can ask to see, correct or delete data at any time: [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

If this policy changes, we update the date above and tell installed stores by email when the change matters.
